Not having children, but coming from a big family with lots of nieces and nephews, I think EVERYTHING changes when you have a kid! 😆. I have 5 sisters so if I’m ever on a plane with a woman alone with a kid or kids, I offer to help out. I love holding babies (and then returning them LOL)
Such a cool idea! Yes, travelling with kids is sooo much different that travelling when you're child-free! think both stages of life have their own kind of magic. As much as I love the freedom and spontaneity that comes with travelling alone or with just a partner, I also love rediscovering places through my son's eyes and watch him experience things for the very first time.

Such a fun post! I studied abroad at University of Auckland for a semester and for spring break we rented a car and drove from Auckland to Dunedin and back up! This time I’d be staying at nicer hotels rather than hostels, will def do much more shopping, and will be eating better food than ramen!!
Aw I didn’t know you studied abroad in New Zealand. How cool! And what an epic road trip! Haha yes doing that trip on a non-student budget would be great.
Love your thinking on this. I also think it's awesome that your first trip to Europe was basically being bored and booking a spontaneous flight!

This is a great lens to examine travel through. Traveling with our kids is totally different!
